Straight answers about Lucine
What is Lucine?
Lucine is a high-performance hairdryer with manual drying, automatic InfraSonic cycling, negative ions and a separate 660 nm red + 850 nm near-infrared light control.
Can I use Lucine as a normal hairdryer?
Yes. Use I or II for airflow and click the temperature button for cold, warm or hot.
What is InfraSonic?
InfraSonic automatically changes airflow and temperature during drying instead of holding one fixed output.
How do I start InfraSonic?
Long-press the temperature button.
What does the IR button do?
It controls 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared together.
Can I choose only one wavelength?
No. The two wavelengths operate together.
Why can I see red but not 850 nm near-infrared?
The 660 nm channel is visible red. The 850 nm channel is mostly outside human vision.
Which hair types can use Lucine?
Use the Find Your Settings guide for fine, straight, wavy, curly/coily, thick/dense and treated hair starting points.
What comes in the box?
Lucine includes the magnetic nozzle, magnetic diffuser, large velvet pouch, microfibre anti-static gloves, four hair clips, small velvet clip pouch, collapsible styling stand and user manual.
What voltage does Lucine use?
Lucine is rated for 220–240 V. A plug adapter does not change voltage.
How often should I clean the filter?
Clean the filter at least once a month, and more often with heavy use. Switch off and unplug before cleaning.
What warranty comes with Lucine?
Every Lucine includes a 2-year warranty automatically: Year 1 is covered by Aurrelle's Golden Warranty (against everything, with immediate replacement, except intentional damage, incompatible voltage or neglect), and Year 2 by the Standard Warranty (manufacturer defects only). You can extend to 4 total years of full Golden Warranty coverage for free — see the Warranty page for both routes.
