FAQs

What makes Infrasonic™ different from a regular hair dryer?

Infrasonic™ is engineered as a dual-action system. It combines high-velocity drying with red and near-infrared light care, delivered through cool airflow, allowing for styling and scalp support within one device—without relying on excessive heat.

How does the light-care technology work?

Infrasonic uses dual-band red (≈ 660 nm) and near-infrared (≈850 nm) light, delivered under cool/ambient airflow conditions. This design supports scalp comfort and follicle energy while avoiding heat interference.

Is the light safe to use on the scalp?

Yes. Light delivery is restricted to cool-air mode only. Built-in safety interlocks automatically disable the light whenever warm or hot air is selected, ensuring non-thermal, controlled use.

Can I use Infrasonic™ every day?

Yes. Infrasonic™ is designed for regular use as part of your normal wash-and-dry routine. High-velocity airflow and controlled temperature settings help reduce heat stress during daily styling.

When should I use the light-care mode?

Light-care mode is intended to be used on the scalp before styling. Once completed, you can switch to warm or hot airflow for drying and styling. The device automatically turns the light off during heated modes.

Does Infrasonic™ work for all hair types?

Infrasonic™ is designed to be compatible with a wide range of hair types and textures. Adjustable airflow speeds, temperature settings, and circulating air mode allow customization based on individual needs.

What is Circulating Air Mode?

Circulating Air Mode automatically cycles between temperature levels to help prevent overheating, protect cuticle integrity, and preserve shine during drying and styling.

Why should a hairdryer care about the scalp and roots at all?

Because the visible strand is the finished result. Hair is produced inside a living follicle surrounded by scalp tissue, blood vessels, cellular signals and the hair-growth cycle. Traditional hairdryers are mainly designed around drying and styling the strand. Lucine adds a second idea: the tool used repeatedly around the roots can also become part of a deliberate scalp-care ritual instead of treating the scalp as something to simply avoid overheating.

Why does Lucine use 660 nm red light + 850 nm near-infrared?

The two wavelengths are used for complementary roles. Lucine’s nominal 660 nm visible red light is positioned toward the scalp surface and upper tissue environment, while nominal 850 nm near-infrared is used for a deeper-support role. Press IR and both activate together through Lucine’s five-pod optical face. The current product specification defines a working distance of about 2–3 cm and a zone-based scalp ritual rather than treating the light as a decorative feature.

How much could Lucine save me compared with maintaining a premium hair-care routine, buying a premium hairdryer and paying separately for red-light scalp sessions?

The saving comes from what you would otherwise need to add to that routine separately.

If you buy a premium hairdryer
at approximately AED 1,900, that is an additional one-time investment.

If you also add professional red-light / near-infrared scalp sessions at approximately AED 300 per session:

  • 10 sessions: premium dryer + sessions ≈ AED 4,900
  • 20 sessions: premium dryer + sessions ≈ AED 7,900

Lucine costs AED 2,800 and combines the premium drying and styling system with InfraSonic™ and integrated 660 nm red + 850 nm near-infrared scalp-and-root care.

So compared with adding those services separately to the same premium hair-care routine you already maintain, Lucine could represent approximately:

AED 2,100 saving versus a premium dryer + 10 professional light
sessions.

AED 5,100 saving versus a premium dryer + 20 professional light sessions.

And because Lucine remains at home
for continued use, the potential value increases over time as you avoid
repeatedly paying for separate light-care sessions.

What warranty comes with Infrasonic™?

Every Lucine includes a 2-year warranty automatically. Year 1 is covered by Aurrelle's Golden Warranty — against everything, with immediate replacement, except intentional damage. Year 2 continues with the Standard Warranty, covering manufacturer problems only. You can extend to 4 total years of full Golden Warranty coverage for free — see the Warranty page for both activation routes.
